Wow Corey...that was confusing as hell to read...

Either way Its made for entertainment purposes not to be as realistic as possible.

But I dont know how this story ties into the series...is it a Pre quel?? since John connor is older than his father at the time. and if he doesnt save him john connor doesnt exist??

It is a prequel and it's not a prequel. In the timeline sense of things, it takes place after the previous movies with no jumps to the past or anything like that. In a story sense, it happens before Kyle Reese and the Terminator are sent back in time and before the T-800's are built, so I guess that would sort of make it first, though not really because of the time travel shit. And yes, if Kyle Reese dies, John Connor doesn't exist. But if John Connor doesn't exist, Kyle Reese isn't in danger. Oh the joys of time travel and paradoxes.

Fucking Confusing...I dont think the Storyline was meant for this to have an actual "Spot" like Back to the Future 1 2 and 3 and Star wars they have stories that can go in order and what not...This one kinda just made itself its own monster...They left the ending Open as hell...I just hope Bale doesnt sign on for another one...I think he plays an awesoem Batman...But People just think of him AS batman.

It sure didn't help that he spent the entire movie doing the raspy Batman voice.

thought they said in the third one that his wife sent it. and with causality being what it is they never have to follow the same universe/timeline. think about it, if john conner sends the termi back its not to protect himself but an alt history john since the act of sending it will cause him and his timeline to cease to be. shoulda left it be after the first one IMO
