Hooking up a DVD player question. - Page 3

The TV is more confusing (trying to find a picture online). It has the red/white for component 2 (cable is component 1). But there is no yellow.

Red and White are you audio inputs or outputs maybe. They are not for video.

This is what the back looks like.

EDIt: On second glance it's not what it looks like. That one would have the yellow. But my TV doesn't have that second part on the right. Argh.

I edited that. Mine doesn't have the red/white/yellow on the far right side.

The back of the DVD player is simply red/white/yellow and that's it. There's no other hook up for it.

They might not be compatible then. If the VCR output only has composite out and the TV does not have any composite video in then you are screwed.

Yes a pic of the rear of BOTH TV and VCR are needed.
