I'm about a 150-170 avg with a kick ass 1-3 pin hook. I can ride the ball right on the right edge of the lane and hook it into the 1-3 pins at the last second. Twisting the ball just before you release it will get it to spin, then when it slows down it will catch the lane and hook. Of course you need the speed correct or it will hook too soon or too late.

I do the same on wii bowling. I throw a nasty curve and compensate. I aver about 220.
