Last December in Japan. Soon as it hits some kinda dvd release that i can get my hands on, I'm all over it.

I had hear Battle Los Angeles was full of the usual Hollywood cliches like the grizzled veteran with just 2 days to retirement, when the shit hits the fan. c'mon guys, get a new schtick or two.

I don't know about Canada, but there are plenty of US GIs get extended stay to go to war courtesy of Uncle Sam, alien and whatnot.

That was in the review I read as well. The guy liked it, but said it was chock full of stereotypical characters.

Just saw it. Stereotypical yes.... but fucking awesome none the less. The tv ads do the movie no justice. A definite must see.

And of course a movie with uniforms and guns isnt complete without michelle rodriguez's fine ass making an appearance.

Yeah i just went bananas trying to find a good torrent before i thought it might not be on dvd yet. is it too much to nurse a hope that since its a toho flick and a huge one that they might put it in our theatres? they did for godzilla 2000 iirc
