Insane, simply insane. Hope he can charge for tours to pay his 40,000 gallon a month water bill. He says he changes out 10k gallons a week. Just insane.

He said he uses the water that he removes from his tanks to keep his ponds going. So its not a total waste. He is also on well water.

But that is a lot of water and and a big ass tank. I always wanted a tank that covered most of a wall.

He also said his electric bill is about $1200 a month. I believe his food cost were about $1400 a month. He has some fish that breed enough to keeps the predators going and lowers his food bills.

I guess one of the few that reads after looking at the pretty pictures.

I noticed how long the thread was and just scrolled to I found is av then I would read the post of the person he was replying to and then his reply. I made it as far as May of 07 like that last night.

it may be 40,000 gallons in WC's but he also has to have a water for top off to replenish water that evaporates. the more current and the heat and light energy in the water, the faster it evaporates. i have a 180 gal system and i go through about 5 gallons of water in less than 48 hours.
