Depends on how you define 'ghost'.

1. Spirit of a dead human that appears to, and attempts to interact with, the living.

Probably not.

2. An energetic impression that gets burned into certain areas and, under the right circumstances, replays itself in a way that can be experienced by those sensitive to such things.

Probably so.

3. An image of a being on another plane that becomes visible to the human eye or detectable by some electronic means (EMF, EVP, 'ghost images' on film or video) for brief periods of time.

Also, probably so.

EVP and EMF are hilarious. There is a lot we can do to manipulate those with how much energy we produce as a culture nowadays. There is so much static and garbage thanks to TV/Satelite/Radio/cell towers on a lot of bandwidth. We don't really have a full grasp how it effects our health/senses either.

While not a very good movie, the story of "Johnny Nuemonic" made me wonder, when it comes to what you describe here. IIRC, they called it "the shakes" or something similar?

Ok, add that to my list too.
However, I feel like just because it's imagination for a lot of people doesn't mean that's all it is in every case.
