from what i understand, they have been making this one for 3 years. Fox got wind of it and decided to scrap some (also) high budget special effects heavy version together very quickly and release it (skyline) months prior. The problem is that supposedly skyline is a huge joke in hollywood and was made with basically no script or story.
battle LA should be epic.

Already started my preemptive invasion stockpile - wither it be aliens, Koreans, zombies, etc...

I think we got a last starfighter kinda twist going on here. The aliens are incapable of violence so they sent cod black ops down to train their new proxy army
