Well if you didnt notice that was a Paper Shredder. So if you didnt know those are made to shred paper into little tiny bits so you cant tell what the paper originally said.

From the speed of the paper being shredded, it's not a cross shredder. You're good to go.

IDK the one we have at work is a cross shredder and its about as fast as that one. But most in home shredders are just strip cutting it. So your probably right.
