The feds have been lisenting to conversations since the beginning of the telephone.
This is just how governments work...all about fraud.

Who didn't know this?
I guess the same people that think the GM "stolen vehicle slowdown" system will only ever be used for that

Most people know cellphones can be tracked, but I doubt most people know that the phone companies are doing it 24/7 and storing the data indefinitely. There's a big difference between locating a phone in an emergency, and storing all of the data constantly and indefinitely.

And there we have it; the stupid comment to government overstepping it's authority. "If you aren't doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about." Personal privacy doesn't require that you be doing something wrong, in order to qualify for it.

They are going to do it anyway with or without your knowledge. Big brother is always watching, get used to it. I'm not claiming it's right. It's a god damn invasion of privacy but there is nothing you can do about it.

If nothing about the gov't can be changed, why are conservatives bothering to hold Tea Party protests

The futile causes are the only ones worth fighting for.

If everyone was doing everything "legal", then the government would create more laws to make something illegal.
Don't you understand how governments work? It is all about control snappy. The government least is always the government best.
