Sounds like you just had shitty luck. There's nothing wrong with the hotbodies I got. Of course, mine don't have "tabs." It lies flat on most of the mounting points, so it really can't break out.

You can't expect any fiberglass fairings to survive a crash. I don't care if they cost $1000.
