Well I orderd a pizza from them last night whether the families get any of the $$ or not...oh well. Pizza was decent...no not great but decent.

The donation may have just been in that area of the country...not sure.

How come you would support a company that supports something you believe in?

You need to ask a question like that?

Again, it's about just verifying the information before running around reposting it. If it's "Papa Johns is donating money from their profits in Washington to the fund" - which is enough for me to want to buy from them, or "Papa Johns is donating ALL their profits to the fund" which is an even BETTER reason.

Either way, it's just about knowing which it is before reposting anything anywhere. And, no one can confirm That's all.

It isn't about NOT supporting them.

"Papa John's PizzaHey Fans -- Thanks for the outpouring of goodwill sent our way regarding the fundraiser for families of the four fallen police officers in Lakewood, WA. We want to clarify that the fundraiser is valid and that the 42 Papa John's restaurants in ...the Puget Sound area are donating 100% of profits on Dec. 8 & Dec. 9 to the Lakewood Police Independent Guild (LPIG) Benevolent Fund. Thanks for your support of the cause!"

and
Papa John's PizzaThis fundraiser is being held in only the 42 Papa John's locations in the Seattle, WA area. If you would like to donate to the families of the four fallen Lakewood, WA police officers, you may do so by going to the Lakewood Police Independent Guild website at www.lpig.us.
