Congratulations!

It feels GOOD to walk again after an injury, eh?...I shattered my hip socket in 2005...didn't walk for 3 months...didn't walk without a limp for 3 months after that.

Handle every stressful situation like a DOG: If you can't eat it or hump it, pi$$ on it & walk away.

How much longer until the limp goes away?

Well, the doctor said that once it stops hurting to walk I have no reason to limp anymore. It still hurts and my muscles are very weak, so I'll be limping because of that for a while. Since I haven't walked normal 4 months I have to retrain myself to walk normally. So, to answer your question, I have no idea.

So, um, is there any chance that Tech will let me run my Busa down the mile with the hardbags on?

I can't remember but I don't believe there is anything on the tech sheet about hard bags. Then again, no one would pay the entry fee to run a bike with unnecessary weight on it.
