How long are the sessions in TX? And how long is the budget? Ours are 1 year budgets and full time legislature with 2 year sessions.

Open carry was seen as "brandishing a weapon" and therefore made illegal. It is legal to carry in your vehicle as long as it is concealed and disclosed to law enforcement. It is also legal to carry without conceal carry permit if you are transporting cash in the name of your business.

no need to disclose to LEO, CHL holder or not
you can conceal carry in your car basically if you're not a criminal, are not doing something illegal . but study up on your own

There would still be cops that would want to harass you for 'disturbing the peace' (ie, your openly displayed firearm is making sheeple nervous) or the like.

yep, wisconsin had plenty of examples of this. biggest problem there was the idiots pushing the limits of open carry. we had it for many years. when they realized it the boneheads came out of the closet to carry all over the place just to put it in people's faces. lots of examples of cops getting all uppity about it with people who were legally carrying. lots of examples of idiots carrying where they really shouldn't just because they suddenly realized they could.
