When I was 19 I left to travel around the world for a while... then came back a year and a half later, only to move out with my sister.

Right after high school graduation into the Navy. I couldn't wait to leave that mudhole of a town.

moved out the day before my 23rd bday, so several months after i graduated college. Moved to Florida and came back a few months later when i found out my dad's cancer came back. Stayed to take care of him until I got married at 25 (moved 2 blocks away), and finally left NYC again after he passed away.

Funny thing is my dad never wanted me to leave and if he had his way, he would want us all the live in the same house. My mom to this days still nags at me to come home.

Tells me i can make more money in NYC, I don't think she realizes that there is a recession there too, the taxes are higher and the cost of living sucks.

The day I turned 18 I moved out.

However over the years, I'd lived with my Mom, or I could say she lived with me.

I moved out when I was 15. We rented a place for about a year and I bought (made payments

Damn, there are a lot of "the day after I graduated" people. I lived with my parents till College started up my freshman year, lived with them the summer after, now I'm paying for college and staying in Springfield for the summer, 3 hours away. Parents still nag at my to come home and call constantly.
