Yeah, I made a comment about getting a new Challenger SRT8. GF said if I drove home with that, I better damn well have a ring in my pocket for her too.
When I asked why, she told me that if I could afford that car, I could afford a ring.

She got rather pissy when I told her it was not money that was keeping me from buying her a ring, but more comments like that.
