I've been in about 7 street crashes and I was wearing jeans every time. Two of them were at over 100 mph. My knees got scarred up during a couple but that's it. According to his charts, some types of nylon are better than leather and yet I don't see racers using them, I wonder why?

The other thing that I don't like about his chart, is that it doesn't take into account the several different denim weights. It covers a bunch of different nylon though... hmmm... biased much?
A few years ago there were "tests" that stated that an $79 AFX helmet was better than a $899 Arai... They had all kinds of charts and whatnot to "prove" they were right... Here's a survey, how many of you were AFX helmets? |
