I need to feel som elevel of trust to be comfortable after that I can mix it up with anyone or any kind of bike. Some of the guys you know best and trust you can have more fun with cause you kinda know what they are gonna do and how hard you can push each other.

I want in on the Chatterbox group buy too!
Am i the only one who thinks the chatterbox is a bad idea? Loss of focus while riding busy jabbering about nothingness, you wanna talk pull over and talk. I mean when a friend goes down and he has it only you can hear all your friends laughing as soon as he/she gets up, so i guess it has its perks.

that's what's nice with the chatter box... you have blue tooth to listen to your ipod... but allows us to give heads up...

you have to push a button like a walkie talkie to talk... it's not as though it's an open comunication going back and forth.

remember passing that truck in the rain on the way to trip's? that would have been a perfect place to have it... I went on a ahead and could have given you the heads up, hey it clears after 15ft or so, so just push through... rather than have ya stuck back there for a bit...

ya know?

Chatterboxes arent a bad idea, and very helpful depending on ride style.

Many long distance riders like them to communicate to stave off boredom and in case they get seperated in traffic.

Ebbs and I coud have used them on our trip, but to be quite honest, knowing the basic signals for needs worked for me too. My preference is simply due to me being attached to my phone constantly for crap and my ride is MY TIME.

like I said... it's not like a phone... not an open line of communication... you have to press the button to talk... so it'd be nice to say... hey... I need gas... or hey take the next exit... or hey... it's all clear pass.

but yeah... not looking to have a political debate while riding.

Exactly. I'd hesitated to let Drewpy have one though... he'd talk about feelings and shit.

I guess those of us who survived to grow up talk more like you know OTB!

If something distracts you get rid of it. Me I can eat cheetos, masterbate, sing, and calculate fuel mileage at the same time so I don't think a push to talk is gonna get me tipped over
