You obiviously didn't pay attention to olympic basketball. The chinese were freakin cheering for the Americans when they played China. The freakin adore Kobe.

As you said we have no proof, so numbers wise I would say Kobe or MJ. Beckham would also be in the onversation for world wide appeal. Basically it comes down to pretty much any of these guys can't really go anywhere without getting recognized though

WTF are you talking about? Its not hard to find out whats popular in china, no harder than it is to find out whats popular in the USA. Golf is a huge sport in China now. Im sorry you only view the happenings of your immediate surroundings, but some of us do keep track of what the rest of the world is doing.

Golf is the fastest growing sport in the world, and china is a huge part of that growth.

Again, things happen outside of texas, and you can find out what those things are if you care to.
