I'll say, A.C., for all the things to hate about it, is still better than any other trash on TLC. That whole channel needs to be put out of its misery.
They did milk it for every penny though I bet they made as much between appearances and merchandising as they did in selling those bikes

Good on them, that's the whole point of running a business. If you can make millions and do so by not fucking people in the ass, then go for it! I've never understood the "selling-out" criticism. Watching them build bikes for huge companies (the only ones who could afford the bikes) got boring a while ago though.

I mean, don't get me wrong, they seem like assholes...but it could be for the show.

I liked the first few episodes, and the first few seasons, after that it just got way to predicaable and boring. The only people I ever really like in the show were vinny and cody, vinny was the real brains there, and cody was just a cool kid, my understanding is that vinny got fed up and left and cody followed him, good for them, the tutels were shitheads and treated their emplyees like crap. I also think that now the show is over, OCC will die a slow painful bankrupcy death

I agree. I like documentaries so I used to love Discovery and TLC but steadily over the years both channels have realy gone down hill with their obsession with low-budget reality shows.

At least the reality shows on Discovery have men killing and eating shit raw...I can get behind that.

But TLC is just a giant fucking freakshow man. They whole concept of their programming is to show the most fucked up people possible. Giant fat people that want a piece of ass, women that produce children like hamsters, they even have a show about what came of the Oompa Loompas once the choc. factory shut down.

TLC is batshit crazy man.

Thank goodness. That show was still going on pure inertia.

I watch the show every now and then. I remeber a guy at work being excited to watch it. I said they fight too much. He said he thought that was funny. I said I like to see less fighting and more building. Overall I did like the show. Vinny is cool and Cody is too. Cody looks like he has been hitting the weights. Business can cause problems but they had problems to start with. I hope the family still does well. Jr is doing his own thing now. I wonder how that is going.

The built two bikes for the company my dad works for but they did not to a tv episode of them cause an episode is crazy expensive.
