I have just a few people on "hide". One is a guy I work with who is fucking mental and is going to come in shooting everyone one day. When he requested to be added as a friend I had to contemplate it for a few days....wondering what the best course of action was. I finally decided I should add him, and then just set him to "hide", so I don't have to wade through blurbs about what his fucking cats did that was so amusing or whatnot. I figured it might help keep me off his "list" for when that day comes.

myspace - inactive, always hated it, tried to use it to recruit for TWFix, ineffective, myspace sucks
facebook - I've used facebook since it opened up at the University of Tennessee and it was still for college students only shortly after it was expanded from Harvard. It was much better in the old days. I still use it because it use to force people to be just themselves and didn't have crap all over it. It is slowly becoming myspace, which pisses me off. I wish it was still restricted and not open membership. I hate the games and various crappy applications that everyone feels the need to send you and post about. twitter - all kinds of gay, I opened an account to see what it was about and it makes myspace look cool. When you have people like Miley Cyrus telling you how useless this website is, you would think people would wake up to the awfulness that is twitter.

Myspace would be bearable if everyone didn't have 20 different videos and songs running on their page. Oh, and full-screen images of some goth chick they've never met.

Not everyone has an ultra-fast connection, especially when you're not at home.
