I'm surprised nobody has brought this up:
What if things were the other way around? What if HE had a "drunken mistake?" Would you WANT to know? How would YOU feel? Also, if he hasn't made any moves, how are you so sure he's even interested in you for the future? Typically, if I'm not interested in a woman relationship-wise, one of two things happens: I have sex as soon as possible, then end the "relationship," or I just hang out if she's cool enough to be friends with. If neither fits and I'm not interested, I don't even bother. To that note, immediate sex doesn't mean I'm NOT interested. Have the two of you had any type of discussion about anything? How long have you been dating? |

If it became serious, and I were the guy to find out down the line that you gave it up to somebody else while I was waiting. I'd be VERY pissed.
If we were casually dating and hadn't done it yet, but then I found out you had with somebody else, I probably wouldn't care.. Little bit of drama now could stop a whole lot later. |

I agree with the first point if she is making him wait. OTOH, if he hasn't gotten any because he hasn't tried or it was his decision, that is his own fault. |

You basically told me in the PM the same thing you said here plus I know more from the Femme section. I think you're spinning your wheels waiting around for this guy. It's been long enough.
I'll give you words of advise that someone recently gave me: "Sometimes a long meaningless relationship feels like nothing next to a short, real one." I know that you really like him, and after thinking about it more since our PM's, I think you should tell him and put the ball in his court. He can either shit or get off the pot and make a move. |

This is too much to read for me....to answer the question, guy#1 is out and guy #2 is in, literally. No commitment, no exclusivity then you are fair game and so is he. Ride him like a $.25 toy in front of WalMart for all he is worth. As far as telling anyone about it, its no ones business. What you do with your life is your business and no one else needs to be the wiser.

I'm not making him wait for anything.
He wants to just let things happen. We only get to see each other about once a week. Like hondahugger said, I think I'm spinning my wheels with him in the first place. I care for him deeply as a friend, but his actions speak louder than words...he's not willing to take this any further than what it is right now (some high school make out sessions and a few hours a week. :rolleyes). Hiss loss. |

Ever think that maybe he has someone else and he's just enjoying a little extra-curricular activites with you? |

There is so much more to it than this so I don't need to worry about that. I'm not going to get hurt here.
