I have to agree. I never got the "chase the ball" thing. Look at Golf. What the fuck is that? Dude has a ball, paid good money for it. Puts the ball on a little stick, and then whacks the fuck out of it with a bigger stick. Ball goes flying into the woods. Problem solved, right? No. Now the dude goes looking for the ball so he can hit it again. He's afraid he might have lost the ball, and he's freaking out. This is where I get lost. If you liked the ball so goddamned much, why the fuck did you hit it with a stick, and make it fly into the woods? Idiots. JC

As for me, not much of a sports person.. I'm good with swimming, and would even spectate it. But I'm hard pressed to find many true sports I'm willing to follow religiously.

I didn't like it at first. But my brother is about 13 years younger then me and one day was given two free buckets of balls from a friend for a driving range. He asked me to take him. I hit one of the buckets and I found that I was hitting it farther then most of the people there. I started to like it at that point and went back again. This time I was set on hitting that big rock with the 300 on it. I put everything into it and was hooking and slicing like a mother fucker. Must have been beginners luck the first time. LOL. Its a fun game if you like a challenge, like the outdoors, don't mind walking and have fun doing easter egg hunts. James

So much for this being a thread of solidarity for those who aren't into the sports madness.
Rename it "List the sports you like/dislike and why"

No no, that wasn't my point.
I guess I was just hoping for a bit more vindication. It sometimes seems like saying "I'm not into sports" makes us feel more awkward than that time I passed out vegan literature at the Kansas City stockyard. ...ok, it would have been funnier if I could set off a Family Guy cutaway scene...
