Yeah, well, while the guys are on deployment, the wives are often out having their own fun. Not all military people cheat, but it happens more than many think it does.

I know. While attending a "secret squirrel" school in Norfolk I happened to go to the sports bar on base... Apparently one of the carriers had just left because the bar was PACKED with "deployment widows".

Both genders have the capacity to be douches. No argument.

On Kodiak Island there was an expression I always thought was hilarious. "You don't lose your wife, you lose your turn."

a lot of the military's policys and benefits cause quite a bit of that. Most active duty bases are surrounded by some frighteningly predatory guys and gals. I refused to date the whole time i was at hood
