I think were entitled to 40 dollars a day. I was technically off yesterday so who knows how it will play out.

I got a questionaire about a year ago. Thought for sure that it would lead to me getting called down very soon. Nothing so far <knock on wood>.
That being said... I really shouldn't care. My company will pay me my full days pay for as long as I'm out for JD. Plus my $12 or $15 or whatever per day they give. The biggest problem is... boredom like stated above. No cell phones, no laptops, nothing. Maybe a magazine so I guess I could do that if allowed. Plus its in Detoilet with expensive parking! BS! I highly doubt I'll make it thru selection with my family being in law enforcement and some of it being inmates. I have a negative for both sides. |

For future reference when tagged with jury duty.. Walk in, pull out a sheet of paper with writing on both sides and start with, "The following are the groups of people I hate..." By the time you get to the b's, you should be excused..

I got super lucky that I was called for a civil case involving a motorcycle so between my my hobbies and my profession I would be aq bad juror for that case. |
