My husband's father is a career army man. His standard punishment when the boys were acting up was a little POW action. They had to kneel in the corner with their hands on their head...execution style. Their toys were regularly taken and not given back. My husband still talks of his superman that disappeared one day...

that's a good one too. we had put the kids in the corner but my GF at the time had a son that could stand there for hours if you made him just stand in the corner. he could figure out how to entertain himself with his hands just messing around or peeling the paper off the wall.

When my kids get old enough to understand how painful PT can be.. I think that's the tactic I'm going to use. I.e... the electric chair (back against a wall, knees bent 90 degrees, arms held straight out in front).. or maybe flutter kicks until *I* get tired.
