Headlights in the rain - Page 4

Nevermind during the rain, people here drive around in the middle of the night with their headlights off. I blame cars like the Lexus that have an illuminated instrument cluster that's on even if the headlights aren't.

I drive with my "driving" lights on usually no matter what time of day it is...I just like the look of them on without the headlights on i guess??

But as stated its a law around here to have them on during rain.

But then again I have a buddy who refuses to use his wipers and literally uses them AS LITTLE as possible...so he says he doesn't need his headlights on most of the time...B/c his wipers technically arent on even if it is raining.

But i agree...maybe its a Biker thing and we are usually all about visibility...i like to be as visible as can be in my truck or on the bike.

I refuse to turn on my hazards in the rain. Holy fuck, whenever it rains around here everyone slows down to 10mph and throws their fucking hazards on. It's like driving in Florida suddenly.

I have daytime headlights on my truck so I do forget sometimes but overall I turn them on since my taillights won't come on automatically.

I ALWAYS roll with my fog lights on and parking lights. I have sense high school and still do. So I always have white light out the front of my vechicle...

state law here... when it rains, it's easy to spot the cops: they're the only one without their lights on

That for some reason is one of my husband's biggest pet peeves. When there is no rain or fog and it's not even dark and someone has their fog lights on. He gets so irritated about it.

Our work trucks have strobe lights and people don't see those fuckers. When we had our great (but not at great as New Orleans) flood a few weeks ago I went over the interstate and I'm suprised jets didn't land there.

Atlanta people can not handle any kind of change in weather when it comes to driving. Or they get it backwards. If it's ice outside then it's haul balls time. Slight mist then hazards and 30mph on the freeway.

I blame Florida.

Well they are white so I guess they are driving lights. Any better?
