Oops, fucked up. I didn't look at the pic. The bike to the left of the Tuono is the 2003 Aprilia Mille. There is a half disassembled FJ1200 hidden behind the Aprilias that is my friend's current overhaul project.

Nice ride. If I can make one suggestion-Mount your radar detector permanently.

I used an invisicord.http://invisicord.com/osc2/catalog/index.php?cPath=24

and a visor clip similar to this.http://www.vettemods.com/radarbracket-c6.htm

I'm sure your mirror has some kind of power to it. you just need to find a hot and a ground wire and plug it in. Very easy install. Very neat too.

I like it that way. Clean and uncluttered. It's a car and not a freakin' spaceship. There's no need to have all sorts of crap in it. If it weren't built in, I would not have gotten the GPS system either.

The fucked up thing is that I gotta learn how to use the iDrive in order to play music, use the Bluetooth and all that shits. Maybe I'll just turn all that shits off and just listen to the engine. The hell with fooling around with all the geegaws.

The car is fast but not startlingly fast. It's hard to be impressed with any car's acceleration short of a true drag racer once you've ridden sport bikes.

That's a very nice ride. I've driven one a few times. I like these along with the AMG Mercedes. I work with a few peeps that have these. Only one has this particular car. I've driven more 7 series.

I don't really care for the i-drive system BUT it is more user friendly than when it first came out...you should have experienced them.

I remember the first time I drove one...the owner wasn't there. I thought WTF !?!?!?!?!?!?....I couldn't even start it and then couldn't get it into gear after I figured out how to start it !!!!

Again...very nice ride man...congrats.

Remember you've also got the M button to play with which frees up an additional 100 horsepower. Do you have to wait until break-in is finished to use it?

I didn't read the manual. Was I suppose to wait in the break-in to use the M button? Oops.

I don't. I'm not exactly gaga-eyed over it. It's a very sweet car, but it's still a car.

Look at the steering wheel picture and on the right spoke, you'll see a button that said "M" on it. It releases the full 500-HP as opposed to the default setting of 400-HP. Stupid feature, but some idiot at BMW thought that it was cool, I suppose. Something to justify the "M" emblem.
