You can find the Shepherds in that coloration as well. it's called Blue Merle. Looks a bit different as they have long hair, but still cool. Our last one was that color.

Was cleaning the garage earlier, and lo and behold, the rescue comes trotting around the the house. He had just finished digging and utilizing the most recent mariana trench under my fence. Tied him up in the garage and let all 3 play while I cleaned the garage, brought them back out to play while I picked up the house and within 5 minutes he was digging a hole on the OTHER side the house, under the fence.

Now, it's bedtime, according to his owner he was an outside dog, but he periodically throws himself at the back door and starts scratching. Or at the window next to the bed.

I put his new rabies tag on him in case he gets out, again, like he did last night, our fault, and I have him tied by the collar on a long rope where he can reach the porch, but not the fence. Have I mentioned how much I HATE tying a dog up?

Any ideas?
To keep my pup from digging, I put an electric wire around the bottom of the kennel about 6" off the ground. She got bit by it prob 3 times, and now she jumps when her tail so much as brushes the wire, even with it off.
She did dig a little in the middle of her kennel while I was deployed and the gf didn't have as much time to spend with her as she should have, but that has stopped now that I'm home again.
The electric fence would at least keep him in.

This is the fencer I have.

Pretty dog. Looks like he's been in a tussle or two. Poor thing.

Awwww. Sorry but I kinda giggled at the "tried to escape from the kennel head first" line. Poor thing. My elderly chi-x has been that way forever. I finally started ignoring her when she would freak. She doesn't freak anymore...

Good luck...patience is a virtue... you'll need a lot of it..

cats are still bajiggety but we're sectioning everyone off until they all have some time to get used to each other. showed ghost to domino and got a typical pop-hiss figures max would be the hard one.
