I take offense of the use of the name "smilie" to depict emoticons used on the forum! I find myself answering amillion useless threads only to realize after i post they were not addressed to me!!!

How about finding something more to say than adding one to your post count, with an emoticon? I've generally found that plus-one emoticon annoying, unless accompanied by some actual text, so I know where trip is coming from.

Whats driving me nuts are the people that won't look for the smilie of choice but would rather type a whole new sentence describing that smilie emoticon. What good does it do to have real emoticons to demonstrate your feelings if your just going to write in how your feeling?
