I've never lived in Jersey, I just have a sis who lives there, and my daughter is going to college there, and I learned real fast the easiest way to tell anyone where you're from is by telling them the exit. Kind of like holding your left hand up, palm facing away from you, when trying to show people where in Michigan you're from.
