What the heck is in Dallas that people want to visit?
If you want to see commercialization at it's most extreme and mega churches on every corner, I guess that's the place to go. |

Not in any particular order...
NYC Chicago Vancover Montreal San Diego Las Vegas Los Angelas San Antonio (Texas in general) Several others I'm sure...just can't think of them right now. There are plenty of other place I want to visit here in the US but not actual cities. I've traveled quite a bit in my life and have seen alot but not the places I listed. |

I don't really get the whole picture on that spot thing. It seems kind of morbid to me. "Smile, your standing on the spot where the President was assassinated.". It is interesting to see though.

same here...
I guess I've been to a bunch of cities and really do not have strong memories of any. What grabs me 1. Architecture 2. Nature crap (aka "Parks", geological features aka "Clay, Silt, Sand, Pebbles, Cobbles, Boulders", topography and other "aphy's" 3. Monuments 4. Museums 5. Women (lookee...no touchee) I'm a big wanderer. When I get to city my first instinct is to walk. I guess its a habit I picked up from working in NYC. I don't take cabs and only use the subway if there are time constraints. D.C as a city was kinda boring. Great Museums and monuments. Seatle...I think I've been there. Vancouver ...nice to walk around the parks. Atlanta - kinda lame. Dallas - Not much to care about (What the fuck do you mean I gotta be careful walkin around after dark?) Boston - Ok...potential but nothing memorable San Fransisco - what the hell is with all the homeless white kids? Get a fucking job slacker. L.A. (ok not a city but a bunch of places in the county) This place blows Vegas - Yeah yeah yeah...more lights and Casinos....can I go back to red rock canyon now? Valley of fire? Charleston - Liked the spots I visited, but I was much younger then. One thing that I remember is that it seemed like blacks were not exactly in the same social strata as whites. Coupe of spots in Alaska were noteworthy but I'm currently suffering from a brain fart When my boys are a little bit older I'll start doing more vacations I guess. It's been awhile since I traveled outside of work |

I don't think Anchorage should be allowed on this list. You aren't going to see the city, it's a shithole and pretty crappy. You want to see what's outside of the city and it gets a lot better the further away from the city you get.

Again, not city visiting, you want the trip, not the destination.
