Because they help you win or lose. They either give advice or stop short of taking up your cards when you've done something dumb. Once I forgot to tip and I made a boneheaded move and right as I was saying "wait, no no!" the guy was looking at me and shaking his head as he turned a card that busted me. I learned to tip well after that

Hmm...didn't know that. PA only has slots so I've never played blackjack in the casino. But...table games are coming!

Well the point is not to lose

Your losses go to the casino, not to the dealer though. They get an hourly wage (but I don't know what it is out here) and make most of their money through tips.

Its a tipping town here. The valets are pulling 100k cash!
