I am a bit more dilligent now with riding on and off the construction site, lots of dirt, dust and mud I have to ride thru getting in and out so I try to keep the chain and the bottom of the bike cleaned rather often.

I have no fucking idea. It's made for a chain. So I used it on a chain. In fact, it's sitting in my shed collecting dust right now.
