What about USGPRU? They have both a 125 and 250 class.

That's what I was thinking. I don't know much about CCS, if they're in your area...

CMRA is the bomb diggity for 250 racing...

Too expensive. I want to be able to run a cheap Ninja 250 or something similar. Plus isn't USGPRU pretty elite.

CCS (out here anyway) doesn't have much in the way of small displacement participation. The LW classes are primarily SV's, with the occasional TZ 250 thrown in.

I think WERA is the only group with a Ninja 250 class?

I am not sure, I know I could run in like e superstock/formula 2/clubman, but I don't know how competitive a 250 would be in the last two.

Depends on who is running...

yeah, but on some of the bigger tracks like barber or nashville, a 250 even with a skilled rider can get dominated by a decent rider with twice the motor. I know 600 is the class where most of the people are and probably where I should focus on, but I just like small displacement racing better. Wish Ninja 250 series had more of a crowd. May start looking into motard racing as well. I really want a WR250X, so having it for race and play would be cool too.

Don't do 600 - that's meat-grinder material. The 250's are a big deal racing here. Bryan was telling me about how disappointed he was with the lack of crowd at Nashville.

Yeah I am not going to get into 600s, I just don't have the desire to race those. I either want to go for 250s or motard racing.
