Yeah, I would say they're probably comparable to the regular Pilot Power. My opinion on Pirelli vs Michelin, at least with their track tires, Michelin's have better traction, but when they let go, they're pretty much gone, with very little warning. Pirelli's don't have quite the same grip, but when they let go it's very predictable and you can tell it's coming.

Granted, nothing but the stockers on the SV to compare to though. They grip, i've even had the 1125 leaned into a corner on cold concrete and hit a patch of sand. The recovered nicely with just a bit more lean. I'm confidant i could drag the pods on that bike before the tires let go!! not sure on milage, I've heard anywhere from 1600 to 6500 miles on them, all on 1125's. depends a LOT on riding style. |
