Lows tonight of 21...again. It's unseasonably cold here. We get cold but don't get these temps until after the first of the year.

Something else I've noticed...when it's raining the temps are in the upper 60's to the upper 70's. When it's not raining the daytime temps maybe reach 50.

Greenhouse effect from the cloud cover. ETA: With the occasional warm front effect coming from the gulf.

My driveway is covered with such thick ice, i could put skates on and grab my stick and puck... No joke i turned into my driveway coming home from work at a blistering 5 mph and went diagnally straight off the driveway...

I love all of the videos online of people in places like texas where it is not supposed to snow, where they get like a half an inch... and it starts like 24 car pile-ups, because they were never taught how to drive in the snow... I lol...

I woke up the yesterday and everything was covered in a sheet of thick ice... i just drove away without a problem. Walking sucked though....
We got freezing rain last night. Most of the roads were salted and sanded, but the side roads were bad. My parent's road was pretty slick and their driveway was a solid sheet of ice. I was able to drive up the slightly angled driveway, though. However, I realized I had forgotten something a couple hours later and went out to the car to get it. My car was part way out in the road. I took a bag of salt out and put it down, then drove the car back up into the driveway.

We got ice too. Main roads were fine driving in, it's just the first 8 miles were on crappy ones which slowed me down. I still made it in early, so I guess it could have been worse.

I just stood there and stared at it. Tried rocking the truck...tried putting it back up...wouldn't budge. Eventually it started falling again....took about 20 minutes. And it was COLD!
