Shape and shell wise I think theyre the same but have different venting.

I have an HJC and like it for what I paid. The reason I have an HJC is because the day I bought the bikes...the R1 was ready to go right then...it was near closing...I had no helmet...the HJC was sitting there among several others...felt/looked decent...fit...matched the bike...had a decent price so I rolled with it.

It has decent venting...a no fog shield that's easy and quick to change and has a removable/washable liner. I'm happy with it...again for what I paid for it.

I'm not sure what I will get in the future. I've owned Shoei and like them and I like the Scorpion that my wife has also.

I've never seen these Shark helmets.

Which is one of the reasons I bought mine! Everybody doesn't have your exact helmet.
