If cash I round up. If credit/debit I do the math and give the server a flat dollar amount so it's easier for them to cash out.

No server wants to count out $.67 at the end of their shift. I always try to tip in dollars.

But it's not like they cash out each bill individually. They aggregate all of them together.

That's their job. If I'm tipping a good server 20% or more, I don't give a shit if they aren't getting a nice, even number.
