You are building a kids mind and personality at that age, the hell if I would be influencing him to cross-dress. She most likely tells him all the time "you can be gay if you want to be" instead of reinforcing what being a guy is about.

You could turn a child into a monster/murder/rapist/thief if you influenced them that way. Genetics has little to do with any of this.
