Good street tire, you can run them on the track, but for the money either the Diablo Rosso or Michelin 2ct is a better deal.

What other tire would you compare them to? Are they as sticky as the regular Pilot Power?

Yeah, I would say they're probably comparable to the regular Pilot Power. My opinion on Pirelli vs Michelin, at least with their track tires, Michelin's have better traction, but when they let go, they're pretty much gone, with very little warning. Pirelli's don't have quite the same grip, but when they let go it's very predictable and you can tell it's coming.

My new rig has Corsas on it...brand new...like 50 miles on them. I'm used to Pilot Power...which will most likely go on the new rig when I tear the ass of the Pirellis.

I tore through my Diablos like a fat kid through a Dairy Queen ice cream cake... My 2ct's seem to be wearing slightly slower... Road 2's are next.

The Road 2's will work well for you. There was a guy at Barber on an FJR on roads.

Granted, nothing but the stockers on the SV to compare to though.
They grip, i've even had the 1125 leaned into a corner on cold concrete and hit a patch of sand. The recovered nicely with just a bit more lean. I'm confidant i could drag the pods on that bike before the tires let go!!

not sure on milage, I've heard anywhere from 1600 to 6500 miles on them, all on 1125's. depends a LOT on riding style.

Just ordered them, $296 shipped. I'll probably pay near that much to have them mounted on the march's at the ducati dealership. None of the local jap bike shops would guarantee they wouldn't fuck them up during mounting.
