Depends if my ass has been conditioned or not. If not, about 100. If so, then a little longer - fuel light comes on at 125 miles so I'd have to stop anyway.

on the RR.. i've gone 390ish... stopp'n for gas 3 times but never actually getting off the bike.. don't like it much. I was in a hurry and I don't like feeling rushed on the bike. i force my self to get off and at least down a drink, grab a candy bar and take a piss at least every other if not every stop.
Going fast is for when I'm on the bike... when I'm off... I slow it down. |

Early in the year I can't ride as far comfortably as later in the year when I've been on the bike more. But I'm sure you guys knew what I meant by my comment "conditioning my ass". |

I can ride for hours on the EX500, but the engine drone makes it annoying. The 600rr I can go about 2 tankfuls, but nothing really hurts.

Honda Blackbird. Has a 6.34 gallon tank.
I can behave and get around 42 - 44 mpg, or if I stay in the twisties for a while it drops to about 20 mpg. Its kinda weird to see the gas guage blinking at me with only 115 miles or so on the tank. but it has been known to happen. Last edited by Krypt Keeper; 07-30-2009 at 01:19 PM.. |
