pretty much, t-mobiles 3G is actually better in most populated areas than at&ts because they don't have all the iphone users on it.

So I have a decent phone (DROID), on a decent network (Verizon). What is the benefit to me of the Nexus One, again?

Probably true, but I prefer carriers that still have decent coverage BETWEEN cities.

Well unless you are totally stupid, you are going to check the coverage in your area before you run out and buy one. I could go down to T-Mobile right now and pick one up but why bother?

You are a loser, that's all. There really isn't all that much advantage if you are happy with your phone. You just no longer have the most hyped phone for Verizon.

And that's the thing, seems like alot of people just check the coverage where they live, and don't take into account all the times they venture out of their area. So when they go skiing or go visit a friend or something, they have shit for voice coverage and have to hunt for wifi hotspots if they want to go online.

Tell you what, I'm going to run a couple errands, if they have it, maybe I'll pick one up, just to see how it works. 2 week satisfaction guarantee ftw!

Very true! I ws considering the i-Phone at one time, so I bought a GoPhone for $15 and carried it around with me to check the coverage... yea no thanks, AT&T. I agree with checking nationwide coverage as well up to a point. Obviously, it all depends on your travel habits. My GF has been to Poland several times but has only been to one other state.
