Because during prohibition people got used to drinking homemade beer that was made with corn and very little hops because they were so hard to get. Prohibition really fucked up beer for this country, thankfully full flavored, full bodied beers are slowly making a comeback.

Ppl drink bud because they like to get drunk. And they don't need a "better" beer to do it.
Why spend 20 when you can spend 5 and achieve the same result? Then again, being canadian, I think all lagers and pilsner are girly drinks. If you can see through it clearly, its strictly to get drunk on. |
