Hey here's a switch from Mediabridge for $26... I've purchased from these guys and can vouch for their quality and service.

I've used them a couple of times and I'm very happy with their prices and products.

Hell, my rear channels are mono.

Splitter or not, the sound and picture quality should be the same.
Yep. This is the same reason theres no point in buying "premium" HDMI cables.

I never recommended buying "premium" analog cables. It's all bullshit and a way to rip you off. Monster cables are for fucking retards. The only reason why you would need to buy a premium cable for analog is if you were running a very long cable.

This is true but you also have to remember that not all HDMI cables are created equally. My TV was not receiving a 1080p signal and after some reading on AV forums I tracked the problem down to a low quality HDMI cable. Monoprice.com fixed that for me though. For the price a local electronics store wanted for a cable to fix the problem (6 ft long) I could have got a better cable from Monoprice.com at 50 ft long. I got a 10 or 12 footer for a fraction of the price.

Ill see if I can find the link.

A website compared a coat hanger and a monster cable.

Nobody could tell the difference in quality.

What a bunch of cheap bastards you all are!!!

You are dead wrong about cable quality not affecting sound reproduction. It all depends on;

What type of equipment you are using.
What your source material is.
Where you are listening.
Etc.

You show me some bullshit, home made hanger vs Monster Cable test and I'll show you a mountain of data that shows measurable differences in spl, frequency range, amp temp, etc. Whether or not the average Joe with a $199 receiver he picked up at Walmart can tell the difference while he's blaring Twisted Sister, through his Jensen speakers, back at the trailer park can tell the difference...Well, I don't know but I have done side by side comparisons between different components, speakers, and cables for 10 years when I did electronic sales and I know for a fact that there is a difference.

You all run regular gas in your bikes too, right?

Tigger. You're the kind of guy that runs 10 bottles of octane booster in every tank cause on the bottle it states that you'll gain 100hp.
