Thanks for clearing stuff up Shan. I understand why you sold. It makes perfect sense and was a good move for you. Doesn't it break your heart seeing what VS did to your place though?

Interesting... well... it's kinda what we'd been saying... you sold it because you wanted/needed out... but you stuck around because you had to...

That being said... I will apologize for my words in the past... what's done is done. it was just hard to see something I cared for go to shit like that. got caught up in the drama and sported off at the mouth a bit. So... SORRY.

I appreicate you taking the time to clear the air... and more so I appreciate what you bilt. this forum is in a very large way a tribute to what you did. it wouldn't be here with out you... so Thanks.

My dissassociation and severing that emotional attachment was the hardest part. At this point, I don't care. Really! It's like seeing a house you lived in for 20 years with other people living in it. They can trash it or change the color or add on to it, but it's not yours anymore. It is what it is.

You know for Trip, this place was like a forum in a box. I'm glad for Trip and the rest that are here. I started TWF with nothing and it was a lot of hard work getting people to visit and creating a community from zero. This place is basically a ready-made forum with an existing membership that just punched in a different URL. I'm happy for everyone involved because the hardest part is done and the community is largely in tact. Even better, in the short time it's been around this place has taken on it's own identity and that's really cool.

I had an awful time settling on this solution. It was a hard decision for me. I wanted to keep intact the core group of friends I had built up on TWF and that was just not possible with VS in control. People were heading for the door with no way to stop them. It took quite a bit of proding from other members to get me to set up this place. We wanted to keep TWF, but it just felt like VS was going to do what they wanted and that was that.
