If so, his attempt at humor failed.

I had a 98 ZX-9r...they shaved 70 lbs. off of it from the previous year...nice bike. My friend bought the R1...don't know if it was better or not because it got stolen the first week he owned it in Myrtle Beach, SC during bikeweek.

Now I wonder if it was an illegal that stole it ?

The 98 ZX-9 was quicker and lighter than the 98 R1 but the R1 was prettier and the suspension was a wee bit better on the track.

Typical of Kawi's...a monster on the street but loses slightly to the competition on the track.

Pretty much exactly how I remember it from reading up on it back then. We never got to ride much together when he owned the R1 since it got lifted.

He waited for months on that bike and lost it within the first week to a thief.

So? 12% speak Spanish so that means that I have to choose the English option when I call T-Mobile customer service? Funny, I don't remember those options when I lived in other countries for me... I only lived in Germany for a few years but I made the effort to learn their language without expecting them to make special concessions for me. That's like someone crashing your party and demanding that you go to the store and buy Coronas because they don't drink Budweiser!

You know, there is no more ignorant feeling in the world than travelling with over 100 people from other countries. ALL of them know English - not a single American in the group knows another language other than English.

It's ignorant.

It's rude.

Isn't 2 years of foreign language a HS graduation requirement? EVERYONE should be able to speak some foreign language by the time they are an adult.

Pinche cabron.
