Yep, loud exhaust draws the wrong kind of attention. It always sound like the biker is going faster than they likely are.

It announces your presence well before you arrive and has them looking for you. Your call but all D&D exhausts do is sell cheap and call undo attention to you, bro. Typically, they make the least hp of any exhaust on the market. If you do get any money, try and fit that into your budget. Btw take pics and an estimate of Dave's bike as well. The fact that you can prove your bike was damaged also makes a case for his! Shit the dumb asses probably had yours released and on the kick stand and released the left strap of Dave's bike and boom into yours and over they both went! If you go in with proof, the owner will have to acknowledge that his guys did it. Shit he was probably there when it happened and that's why he's ducking you. Call again, if he won't answer, ask for the name of their liability insurance company. Call them and see what they say about this. I had to do that with a car that I had towed once.
unless it starts shitting oil regularly i dont have any case. i'll keep an eye on it but i think its fine. i want out of the whole bike so pipe im not too concerned with. we'll see what happens next month

OK-As long as your claim is below 5K-go to small claims. It's your words (and pics) against his. No Lawyers allowed. Guaranteed to collect your cash as it will be a judgement. If the asshole tries to not pay-he'll lose his ability to tow for any LEOs.

Trust me on this.

Like I said I am not asking for alot, enough to pay for the parts as new from a dealership, and thats not all the parts either, there are a bunch of (relatively) expensive fasteners that are missing too, possibly broken off when it was dropped. If the guy wants to go to court my bro-in-law practices in philly and already volunteered his services, in which case I'm gonna pull out my super jew calculation skills on him and account for every penny it will cost me. i forgot to get a reciept for the toll today going to get the bike, but I had to drive aprox 12 miles out of my way to get the estimate for the parts, thats 1/2 gal of gas at $2.37. Tomorrow after work I am taking the bike to a body shop to get a full estimate.

This also wasnt a mom and pop tow company, it looked fairly large
