I have one of these:


I could literally take my entire bike apart and put it back together with this thing... It's like phonebook thick and about the best $50 I ever spent.

You probably could have found it online.

I found the shop service manual for my bike in PDF... then printed it out at work double sided and bound that shit up into a book. Cash money.

A little further today... Disassembly is almost 100% complete.

Removed the primary cover...




Wrapped the headers...




Shoulda probably done that outside... Luckily everything cleaned up real easy...




Just have to take off the other engine cover, but I couldn't cause I left my drill at work and I need to drill out a couple rivets.

No more updates for this thread most likely... I will probably just continue on with the project in relative silence then unleash the final product as the first post in my blog.
