I've never seen more than one at a time. And now I just dead eye everything, it's definitely not a hard game.

I'm yet to run across a bear yet. I'm only at 27% however..

Bears are awesome. Easy to kill. Cougars are fucking bastards. I only run across one at a time as well.

I am trying to figure out an easy way to kill a bear with my knife (Master Hunter Task). I think maybe if I shoot it first with the high powered rifle, I can finish it with the knife.

If you want more than 1 cougar (or any animal) at a time, throw out some bait.

Apparently, as long as you finish them off with the knife, you can pump em full of lead first.
