I understand your caring and Kaneman's too because nutrition is 70% of body composition goals, but you have to know when to pick your fights. If this was a week long shindig, I'd be complaining too. One day? Then the kid just eats when he gets home.

Absolutely. Though it would have made him feel crappy for a few hours, eating a cheese sandwich would've had no measurable effect on his overall health.

Yea this is definitely a "principal" thing. I find it very hard to believe, and I hope it's not so, that a 7 year old kid is being forced to eat THAT healthy. You know that one meal is going to destroy the whole program. I mean, doesn't the kid get a Snickers or go to Chuck E Cheese once in a while or do you have him on a strict dietary regimen like your dogs?

hell yeah i'd be pissed too.. i really need to get back to doing some kind of training.. i took aikido awhile back and really enjoyed it.. i would like to do the full blown ju jitsu.. been trying to get the old girls into it mainly for self defense but they, like my wife, seem to think the world is this lovely safe place and no one is out to harm them.. i really hope nothing ever happens to them because i will get the cell next you when i kill some mfrs.. unfortunately that is the type of convincing it will take for them to finally listen to me.. now mp jr he is all about getting into it.. when he turns 5 this year i am definitely going to get him into something - probably karate to start.. although judo might not be bad either..

could be....still, no has ever died from only getting a sandwich and milk for lunch. Especially since I'm sure the kid gets a uber-healthy breakfast. The thing I agree with most is the fact that if he has a problem with ANYTHING the school is doing with his child, he has a right, indeed an obligation to get involved.
